Feb 9 - Today we went to Red Rock Canyon

on the road again...



going to over where the mountains are..

getting closer!! only about 20-30 min away

they are massive..

first we stopped in at this state park.. and old ranch that Howard Hughes and other famous people played at, pretty cool ranch

ok so this pic helps you understand how big these formations are... it was too hot to walk around - we would have melted... but people were all over this place, and how fun it would be to climb around here.....

guess what kind of caution sign this is for... wild animals....
